This is another one TV series which everyone loved! There is few reasons to like it. Someone liked the intrigue line of the show. But the other ones were attracted by fashion forward looks that those school girl were able to pull it off! I think I followed every episode of the show but don't ask me to discribe what is a story! I simply lost it right on the beginning. Only fashion drove me till the end of it.
Good news for fans of the fashion on Pretty Little Liars — a clothing line inspired by the teen drama is coming soon.
PLL
costume designer Mandi Line played a big role in designing the line,
which was developed in partnership with Warner Brothers and apparel
brand Aéropostale. “It’s been a dream come true. It’s become such a
passion project on both sides. All of us have become like family within
the last three or four months,” Line told EW of the collaboration. “I’m
so protective of the show and the fans, but the more I work with them,
the more I see that they’re really open to everything I’m saying.”
Line wouldn’t share specifics, but the costume designer did reveal
that the line will consist of items inspired by each character’s
individual style, with pieces priced between $18 and $72. “Aéropostale
is very savvy. Their main thing is to combine quality with the right
price point,” Line explained. “I really wanted to work with a retailer
whose price points were [reasonable]. I wanted kids and parents to be
able to afford [the clothes].”
The Pretty Little Liars Collection by Aéropostale will be
available nationwide exclusively at the brand’s retail stores and on its
website as of January 5 — just in time for the show’s winter premiere
two days later on January 7.
Line also shared a little style scoop from the new season.
“Spencer is going to go through a transition that I wasn’t very happy
with, but she redeems herself. There’s also an upcoming black and white
[film noir style] episode and the fashion is unbelievable. It’s
something that I don’t think I’ve ever seen on cable with a young,
contemporary show. It looks like a movie. It’s unlike any of our
Halloween episodes. It blows everything we’ve ever done out of the
water,” she hinted about a storyline that centers around Toby (Keegan
Allen) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario). “We custom-made some pieces, but
the main thing was that we pulled authentic 1940′s clothes. Learning
how to [work in] black and white was a whole other deal. Just because it
looks good in color has nothing to do with how it translates on-screen.
It was a learning process.”
As for the rest of the girls; “Aria’s clothing is as wild as ever. Hanna’s skirts get shorter and her heels get higher. Emily keeps on taking risks and [she'll show] more skin.”
It’s also safe to assume that we’ll see them wearing pieces from the Pretty Little Liars Collection.
